The A vita amatus academy in upper living offers you the further training to the „gerontopsychiatrischen specialist „on. The participants/inside receive by regular participation in the further training and after a passed final examination the conclusion as „gerontopsychiatrischen specialist“.

Objective of training

.

The further training participants acquire, deepen and expand their professional, methodical, social and personal competences for the performance of their tasks in dealing with gerontopsychiatric and psychiatrically ill elderly people. They acquire the competence to work conceptually in their outpatient or inpatient care facility and to implement new networks – and care structures. They are the contact person for the specialists in the accompanying therapy and ensure adequate care for the psychiatrically ill clients.

Target group

Persons with a state-recognized training in geriatric care or health and nursing training or health and pediatric nursing training and at least two years of professional experience in the profession.
