People in need of care with dementia-related ability disorders, mental disability or mental illness require special care. Additional caregivers accompany and support those affected in close cooperation with the nursing staff, for example, with everyday activities such as walks, board games, reading or handicrafts. If you want to reorient yourself professionally in the social care sector, you can acquire a qualification that is in great demand on the job market in this course.
In this advanced training course, you will acquire the professional and operational skills to care for people who are dependent on help due to dementia-related ability disorders, mental disabilities or mental illnesses. You will motivate, support and accompany residents in the following life activities, among others: Painting, handicrafts, cooking, baking, reading and reading aloud, exercise, attending cultural events and handicrafts.

Participation requirements.
To participate in this training, you must have a good command of written and spoken German and a clean police record. In addition, you should have completed a 40-hour orientation internship in a nursing facility before starting the training.
